Tom Watson Courts Campaign
Let’s Build Boulder’s Premier Pickleball Courts Together!
Help Create Boulder's New Community Gathering Space
Construction on Boulder's first dedicated public pickleball courts at the new pickleball complex at Tom Watson Park well underway.
Now, we're inviting the community to help build the place where players, families, neighbors, and visitors will gather for years to come.
PLAY Boulder Foundation is raising $100,000 to create a welcoming Community Gathering Space featuring:
Shade structure
Tables and seating
Food truck plaza
Gathering space for players and spectators
Thanks to the City of Boulder and Boulderthon, the new pickleball courts, parking lot improvements, and drinking fountain are becoming a reality. Now, PLAY Boulder Foundation is leading the community effort to create the gathering space that will make Tom Watson Park a destination for connection, not just competition.

A Place to Gather
Great parks aren't defined only by the courts, they're defined by the moments that happen around them.
The Community Gathering Space will be where teammates celebrate after a match, grandparents watch from the shade, families share a meal from a local food truck, and neighbors linger long after the final point.
This space will transform Tom Watson Park from a place to play into a place to belong.
The Project at Large
Tom Watson Park is undergoing a transformational renovation that includes:
New pickleball courts
Improved accessibility
Parking lot improvements

Community Gathering Space
Help Complete the Vision
The City of Boulder has already committed $1.3 million toward the future of Tom Watson Park, along with community partner Boulderthon contributing $50,000 with up to a $100,000 match for donations made to the parking lot by Boulderthon registrants.
Now we're inviting our community at large to help build the one space designed for everyone. Contributions made during the campaign will be included as part of the project's donor recognition
Help raise the final $100,000 for the Community Gathering Space.
