Josh Burger, M.S. is a sport psychology coach based in Boulder and the founder of Tiebreaker Psych. Josh specializes in teaching sport psychology skills that are applicable to athletes and performers of all ages, sports, and levels.
Josh was an all-conference tennis player at Clark University where he earned a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology. Josh attended California State University, Long Beach where he received a Master's Degree in sport psychology while researching mental toughness in college sports. He is also an experienced tennis coach and has coached at the International Tennis Hall of Fame in Newport, RI and at the Division I level at Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, CT. He is also the co-host of the Tennis IQ Podcast, a podcast that focuses on the mental side of tennis and sport performance and has over 200 episodes.
Josh is proud to serve on the PLAY Boulder Board of Directors, and excited to utilize his experience in sport and understanding of the mental side of sport to help people within Boulder and Boulder County gain access to recreation and sport.
